Neurogenous bladder

INVESTIGATION & SURVEILLANCE OF NEUROGENOUS BLADDER

1. History – Clinical examination
2. General blood and urine tests.
3. Urodynamics study.
4. Dynamic cyst scan
5. Kidney – ureter – bladder ultrasound
6. Kidney scan
7. Intravenous pyelography 

The physician will determine if the above tests will require some or all of these and when repeated.

In general, the first 5 years of disabilty annual or more frequent inspection will be required while later if there are no complications, inspection will be performed every 2 years.
